Winter session of Odisha Assembly from Nov 24

BHUBANESWAR: The winter session of Odisha Legislative Assembly will start from November 24. The session having 33 working and 5 ‘no meeting’ days will proceed until December 31.As per a notification by the Parliamentary Affairs division, the primary supplementary assertion of expenditure for 2022-23 can be introduced on the primary day of the session on November 24.
The Appropriation Bill on the primary supplementary assertion of expenditure for the 12 months 2022-23 can be introduced on December 2. The non-public members’ enterprise (payments & resolutions) can be tabled on November 25, December 9, December 16, 23, 28 and 30.This is for the primary time that the Assembly session goes to be held with none Covid restrictions.
However, a choice on the variety of hours the home will meet every day is but to be taken.
An all-party assembly to be convened by Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha earlier than the session is slated to take a name on the matter. The monsoon session was held between July 2 and August 4 and had 24 working days.
