Santosh Kumar, a resident of Ganpat Nagar Colony in Pahadia, lodged a complaint with the police that Surendra Jaiswal, a resident of Ghughhulpur Jalali Patti Manduwadih and his wife Preeti Jaiswal, described him in trouble and sought help of Rs 60 lakh. The couple assured Santosh that they would soon return the money. In confidence, Santosh deposited Rs 57,50,000 in the account of his company, Kanak Preeti Nidhi Limited.
However, Santosh contacted the couple when he did not get the money back for several months, but he began to shrink. When Santosh pressurized, the couple threatened to kill him. After this Santosh complained to the police. The station in -charge said that a case has been registered against Surendra Jaiswal and Preeti Jaiswal for cheating and threatening. The police is investigating the case intensively.
Case of girl’s photo viral
Meanwhile, a young woman from Barauli village of Bhimpura police station in Ballia has accused a young man of making her personal photos viral on Instagram. The woman told the police that she met a young man named Anubhav Srivastava while studying at Quantum University, Rudhi (Uttarakhand). According to the woman, Anubhav made some private photos of her viral on social media on 17 March.
The woman alleged that Anubhav threatened her and demanded Rs 10 lakh. The young man changed the mobile number and sent threatening messages continuously. After this, the woman complained to the station in -charge Madan Patel. The police have registered a case against Anubhav Srivastava under the relevant sections and the investigation of the case is going on.
