Then when the girl pressed for marriage, the accused sprinkled kerosene oil on her and tried to hit her with a jam. After saving her life, the victim somehow reached the police station and informed the police about the incident.

The whole matter is of Deoria in UP. In this case, the police have registered a case against the accused under other sections including gang rape. Three years ago, a girl resident of a village in Laharpur police station area of ​​Sitapur district got acquainted with Yasin, a resident of Semri of Baghauchghat area, through Facebook. Gradually this friendship turned into close love.

It is alleged that on June 7, 2021, Yasin reached Sitapur and called the girl to a hotel on the pretext of marriage. Then he forcibly had physical relations with the girl. When the girl put pressure on Yasin for marriage through phone, the accused called her to a hospital in Deoria to talk about marriage.

It is alleged that when the girl reached the given address, Yasin was present there along with his brother-in-law Hasan. Both of them together raped the girl. From there the girl was coaxed and sent back home. The victim informed her family about the incident. After which the family reached the accused’s house. Panchayat was held between both the parties.

After that, the victim started living with Yasin at his house on 3 July 2023. It is alleged that when the girl reached the given address, Yasin was present there along with his brother-in-law Hasan. Both of them together raped the girl. From there the girl was coaxed and sent back home. The victim informed her family about the incident. After which the family reached the accused’s house. Panchayat was held between both the parties.

After that, the victim started living with Yasin at his house on 3 July 2023. Even after six months had passed, Yasin did not marry the victim. On the contrary, he also started giving death threats. It is alleged that on January 25, the accused along with his family members and relatives started beating him. Then they tried to kill the victim by sprinkling kerosene oil on her. Somehow, the girl managed to escape and reached Baghauchghat police station on Saturday and lodged a complaint with the police.
