Judicial commission formed on Hathras incident: Three-member team will investigate, will submit report in 2 months

Lucknow. The state government has constituted a judicial commission to investigate the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh. A three-member team has been formed under the chairmanship of retired Justice Brijesh Kumar Srivastava of Allahabad High Court. Retired IAS Hemant Rao and retired DG Bhavesh Kumar Singh have been included in it. Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar has issued an order in this regard.

Let us tell you that the commission will have to submit its report within two months. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report. On Wednesday, CM Yogi Adityanath Yogi inspected the spot and met the injured. Apart from the CM, National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Rekha Sharma visited the site of the Hathras stampede.

It is noteworthy that there was a stampede during Bhole Baba’s satsang in Fullerai village of Sikandrarao police station area of ​​Hathras district on Tuesday. 121 people including children and women were crushed to death by being trampled underfoot. Bhole Baba alias Narayan Sakar Hari, who had come to conduct the satsang after the accident, has fled from the spot. Till now no FIR has been lodged against this Baba.
