Kannauj Cow Milk Plant Preparations have intensified to restart the state-of-the-art cow milk plant built at a cost of Rs 141 crore in Kannauj. The responsibility of this plant, which was closed for a long time, has now been handed over to the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) of Gujarat. This state-of-the-art plant was built in 2018 on 8 acres of land in Kannauj. Its total cost is approximately Rs 141 crore. The plant was built with the capacity to produce dairy products and store 1 lakh liters of milk per day.
However, this plant was closed in 2022 due to budget constraints. Now the state government has decided to give it on lease to the National Dairy Development Board for 10 years. During this period, the products and packing manufactured in the plant ‘pollen’ The brand name will remain intact.
