Banda. In Banda, Uttar Pradesh, a woman along with her lover killed her husband. On Saturday, the court found her guilty of murdering her husband. After which the court sentenced the woman and her lover to life imprisonment and fine.

Additional District Government Advocate Sushil Kumar Tiwari and Shravan Tiwari said that Sunita, a resident of Bhajju Ka Purwa of Gureh village of Kotwali Dehat police station area, was having an illicit love affair with Prem Babu, a resident of Manipur village of Girwa police station area. In which Sunita’s husband Angad was becoming an obstacle.

The woman along with her lover planned to kill her husband. After which on 26th April 2019 at 3 am Sunita took her husband Angad to the field on the pretext of harvesting the crop and called her lover Prem Babu there and both of them together hanged him with a towel in the field and killed him.

It is being told that the wife also conspired to dispose of the husband’s body. To prove the cause of death as a road accident, she threw his body on the road towards Bisanda. On receiving the information, the police recovered the body, got it post-mortem done and registered a case of the incident and started investigation. Now the court’s decision has come in the case. In which the wife and her lover were found guilty. The court has sentenced both of them to life imprisonment.
