Ayodhya: Police station Kotwali Nagar of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh has arrested the accused of homicide of the woman. He is accused of murdering a younger lady working in Vishal Megamart Civil Lines after failing to rape her.
According to SP City Madhuvan Singh, the deceased used to work as a cashier in Vishal Megamart of Civil Lines of Nagar, who lived in a rented home close to Deva. As the room was far-off, a younger man lured the woman together with her e-rickshaw on the pretext of getting a room close by. It is alleged that he tried to forcefully have a bodily relationship together with her by taking him to a sugarcane area in Gaura village of village Gaura police station Tarun space. Failing that, he was strangled to loss of life. The accused fled together with his cellular and bag.
The accused Anoop Kumar Singh has been arrested from Guru Gobind Singh Chauraha close to Ayodhya. After rigorous interrogation, he confessed to the crime. On his behest, the skeleton of the deceased, the woman’s garments, bag, cellular, card of Vishal Megamart, bones of the woman have been recovered. Action is being taken in opposition to the accused by registering a case of rape, homicide and different sections.
