Student Suicide in Ranchi: Police Seek Answers

Ranchi police are investigating the suicide of a 21-year-old student, Swati Kumari, who was found dead in her rented room in the Hatia area on October 5th. She had traveled to Ranchi from Sasaram, Bihar, on October 3rd. The student was studying BBA at a private university. The Jagannathpur police and an FSL team are involved in the investigation, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. The police have not yet found a suicide note and are working to ascertain the reason behind the student’s decision. They are examining the victim’s phone records. This is not an isolated incident; there was a similar incident involving a woman and her children in the same police station area two months prior.
