Lucknow. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had come to address a rally in Banshidhar Nagar, Jharkhand on Saturday. After finishing the rally, Rajnath Singh had to leave for UP by helicopter. But the problem increased when his helicopter could not fly due to the lack of fuel. Due to compulsion, Rajnath Singh had to travel 200 kilometers by road.

Let us tell you that the distance between Garhwa and Banaras is about 200 kilometers. Due to non-availability of fuel, Rajnath Singh first waited for 1 hour, when he came to know that fuel would not be available, he had to leave for Banaras by road. Jharkhand Director General of Police Anurag Gupta said that Rajnath Singh left for Uttar Pradesh from Garhwa by road because his helicopter could not be refueled.

Regarding the fuel, state BJP president Babulal Marandi said that the vehicle carrying fuel from Ranchi could not reach Garhwa due to some problem. Due to which the Defense Minister had to travel by road.

Garhwa Superintendent of Police said that as the vehicle carrying fuel for the helicopter could not arrive, Singh decided to go to Varanasi by road.
