Suicide Pact Claims Lives of Young Couple in Chhattisgarh

Authorities in Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh are investigating the apparent suicide of a couple who were found hanging from a tree in the village of Dhanneli. The deceased have been identified as Shailendra Kewat, a resident of Amora, and Ramkumari Singh, 36, of Sohagpur, Korba. Police were called to the scene near the Khadakhodi pond and have commenced an inquiry into the tragic incident, which occurred within the Pamgarh police station limits. The police are looking into all aspects of the case.
