The State Investigation Agency (SIA) will be conducting an investigation into the IED blast in Sukma that resulted in the martyrdom of ASP Akash Rao. The Home Department has entrusted the SIA with the task of conducting a comprehensive investigation into this sensitive case.
The investigation team will include six police officers of varying ranks, including SP, ASP, TI, and SI. Their task is to meticulously investigate all aspects of the blast. DGP Arun Dev Gautam and SIA Director Ankit Garg have instructed the team to focus on identifying and arresting the Naxals at the earliest opportunity.
Reports indicate that the SIA team will travel to Sukma in the coming days to examine the blast site and collect necessary evidence.
The main goals of this investigation are:
* To identify the Naxal group responsible for the IED blast.
* To expose the network that assisted the Naxals in planning and executing the attack.
* To arrest those involved and dismantle the entire operational structure.
The government has expressed its respect for the sacrifice of ASP Akash Rao and has vowed to hold the perpetrators accountable.
