The Supreme Court has issued an order directing dhaba and restaurant owners operating along the Kanwar Yatra routes to adhere to the Uttar Pradesh government’s guidelines. This includes the mandatory display of registration details and licenses at their establishments.
The court clarified its stance by stating, “At this stage, all the respective hotel owners shall comply with the mandate of license and registration certificate as required statutorily. We make it clear that we’re not going into the issues being argued. The application stands closed.”
