    40 projects in Milkipur alone

    A total of 83 projects worth Rs 1,044 crore 74 lakh 63 thousand will be inaugurated and laid the foundation stone by the CM in Ayodhya. These include 40 projects of Milkipur assembly constituency, whose total cost is Rs 4975.06 lakh.

    37 projects were inaugurated

    37 projects worth 8283.43 lakhs will be inaugurated in the district. The inaugurated projects include 21 projects of Namami Gange and rural water supply, 15 of Public Works Department, two of Vocational Education and Skill Development-Entrepreneurship and one of Social Welfare Department. Seven projects are to be inaugurated in Assembly Milkipur. The inaugurated projects include 05 projects of Namami Gange and rural water supply and two projects of Public Works Department.

    Foundation stone will be laid for several projects

    The foundation stone of 46 projects worth 92191.20 lakhs will be laid by the Chief Minister in the district. 34 projects of Public Works Department, 2 of Urban Development Department, 2 of Housing and Urban Planning Department, 2 of Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, 1 project each of Medical Education Department, Tourism Department, Higher Education Department, Stamp and Registration Department, Vocational Education and Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Youth Welfare Department are included. The foundation stone of 33 projects worth 3456 lakhs is being laid in Milkipur Assembly constituency. The projects to be laid include 30 projects of Public Works Department, 1 project each of Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, Stamp and Registration Department and Youth Welfare Department.

    Yadav coined the PDA ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

    “The statistics of encounters during the BJP rule are also statistics of the injustice of illegal killings and also of the injustice done against the PDA,” Yadav posted on X on Tuesday evening in Hindi.

    While the SP chief has been critical of the state’s “trigger happy” police in the past also, his latest attack stems from the recent killing of Mangesh Yadav, a suspect in the Rs 1.5 crore robbery at a jewelery store in Sultanpur, who died allegedly. after a gunfight with the police.

    In another post Tuesday night, Yadav shared a bar chart on statistics of accused killed in “fake encounters”.

    The data showed that 125 (60 per cent) of those killed belonged to the PDA, 40 (19 per cent) to ‘others’ while data was unavailable for another 42 (21 per cent). The chart, however, mentioned no source of information.

    The Kannauj Lok Sabha MP had previously also termed Mangesh Yadav’s encounter as “fake” and alleged that it was done based on the basis of the accused’s caste.

    However, on Monday, UP Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar denied the allegations, saying no partiality is practiced by the state police.

    “Police do not do such things… When bullets are fired on police, those who have faced such situations, who are our former officers, all of them know about it… I deny all such things and the police take action completely. impartially,” he told reporters in Lucknow.

The Chief Minister found in the review meeting that compensation could not be paid to thousands of farmers affected by crops damaged by disasters in the financial years 2021-22 and 2022-23 due to Aadhaar, account number and duplication during data feeding. He had instructed the officials to give assistance to the farmers deprived of compensation after re-verification.
