This has necessitated an ever-increasing want to permit vaccination for COVID-19 to all age teams and particularly to all individuals with co-morbidities equivalent to respiratory sicknesses and terminal sickness, who, regardless of being weak to the virus, haven’t been given the choice to be protected by the vaccine.

“The bar on availability of approved vaccines to persons below the age of 45 years, despite having co-morbid conditions, is arbitrary, unreasonable and ultra vires Article 21, which guarantees a right to life, not being a mere animal existence but including within it the right to dignity and appropriate healthcare as well as Article 14, which envisages a right to equality to all the citizens,” it stated.
The petition has sought instructions to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to make efficient modifications in its coverage to make sure vaccination for COVID-19 to all residents of the nation.
