They took away their house and land, not only this, they were also beaten up and thrown out of the village. When this family reached Jhansi Road police station to seek help, no one listened to them. On Sunday, these people reached the SP office. Here they appealed to the police officers to take action against the goons and get their land back.

    The victim’s family told the police officers that this village is dominated by Gujjars. There are very few people from the caste they belong to. If they do not get justice, they will be forced to leave Hinduism. Taking this matter seriously, the police officers have directed the Jhansi Road police station in-charge to investigate the entire matter. Ramnivas Namdev lives with his family in Santau village. He works as a labourer.

    Jitendra Gurjar, Mansingh Gurjar and their relatives living in the village indulge in hooliganism in the village. Most of the people of Gurjar community live in this village. Ramniwas has alleged that the house in which his five generations have lived and now he was living with his family was snatched by the goons. He was beaten up and thrown out of the house. All his belongings were thrown out of the house.

    After this, they bulldozed the house and land. Not only this, they beat up and humiliated the entire family and drove them out of the village. When they went to the village again, they beat him up again. They threatened him that if he set foot in the village, they would kill his entire family. Ramnivas reached the SP office on Sunday with his family. Here he complained to ASP Siyaz KM. He told the ASP that if he did not get justice, he would be forced to change his religion. ASP Siyaz KM has ordered the Jhansi Road police station in-charge to investigate and take action.

Dr. Shantideva Sisodia, in-charge of the placement department, says that information has been sought from all the departments, which will be collected by the first week of August. After this, companies across the country will be contacted and invited for placement drives. After this, placement drives will be organized according to the schedule of the companies.

    Placement drive will be virtual

    Keeping in mind the convenience of the students and the current trend, the placement drive will be organized through virtual medium. In this, the representatives of the students and the companies will join online and complete the process. In which first there will be screening, after which the students will be tested. The students who pass the test based on OT type questions will then be included in the group discussion. The students who are selected will be given placement after the interview. Apart from this, the companies which want to organize the drive in offline mode can also do so.

    There may be a job fair in August

    Keeping in mind the future of the students, the JU management is also planning to organize a job fair in the month of August this time. In which representatives of various companies will come and interact with the students. In this, students will not only get information related to employment but they will also get help in choosing an easy path for the future.

    ‘To increase employment opportunities for students, not only private companies are being contacted, but correspondence will also be done with the District Industry Centre and MSME. Better employment opportunities will be provided to the students.’
