  • Two friends died after being hit by a dumper

    Gwalior. Naiduniya representative. Two friends died after being hit by a dumper on the highway under Bijauli police station area. Both friends were going to get petrol filled in their bike. Then the dumper crushed them. After the incident, angry people blocked the highway. Police have registered a case against the accused dumper driver.

    According to the information, Vineet Kushwaha and Saurabh Jatav were going to the petrol pump from their home to fill petrol in their bike. They were both in between Karganwa village and Kheria village. Just then a dumper came from the front at a high speed and hit the bike. The collision was so severe that both the friends died on the spot. After the incident, the accused driver fled with the dumper. After the incident, people of both the villages gathered and blocked the highway.

Soon the virtual placement drive will start in JU, for which the placement department has also started preparations. Students participating in the placement drive will have to participate through online medium. All the process will be completed online.

    In this process, a letter has been sent to the heads of departments, coordinators and all directors to collect primary information, in which detailed information about the companies related to their department and area has been sought from them. Dr. Shantideva Sisodia, in-charge of the placement department, says that information has been sought from all the departments, which will be collected by the first week of August. After this, companies across the country will be contacted and invited for placement drives. After this, placement drives will be organized according to the schedule of the companies.

    Placement drive will be virtual

    Keeping in mind the convenience of the students and the current trend, the placement drive will be organized through virtual medium. In this, the representatives of the students and the companies will join online and complete the process. In which first there will be screening, after which the students will be tested. The students who pass the test based on OT type questions will then be included in the group discussion. The students who are selected will be given placement after the interview. Apart from this, the companies which want to organize the drive in offline mode can also do so.

    There may be a job fair in August

    Keeping in mind the future of the students, the JU management is also planning to organize a job fair in the month of August this time. In which representatives of various companies will come and interact with the students. In this, students will not only get information related to employment but they will also get help in choosing an easy path for the future.

    ‘To increase employment opportunities for students, not only private companies are being contacted, but correspondence will also be done with the District Industry Centre and MSME. Better employment opportunities will be provided to the students.’
