The state government has started preparations for procurement of paddy at the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21. 64 nodal officers have been appointed for easy paddy procurement and supervision in Janjgir Champa district. These nodal officers will supervise the preparation at the respective paddy procurement centers. Nodal officers have been instructed to submit the preparation report in the prescribed form to the district office by 19 November 2020. In addition, the nodal officer will continuously monitor the period of paddy purchase and will submit weekly reports every Tuesday.

Death toll in Chhattisgarh crossed 2000, 1718 infected
Death toll has crossed 2,000 in the state. On Friday, 2038 people have died of coronavirus in the state with 49 death cases so far. Please tell that in Chhattisgarh on March 18, after the first infection, there was a death till May.
There were 12 deaths in the month of June, 41 in July and 223 in the month of August alone. There were 957 deaths from March to September, with 680 deaths in the month of September. In the month of October alone, 1081 deaths have been reported. According to the health department, a total of 17178 have been found in the state, including 285 in Raigarh. 1372 people have recovered. Of these, 258 hospital discharges and 1114 people completed home isolation. There are patients in other districts including 152-152 in Raipur and Janjgir-Champa, 117 in Bilaspur, 109 in Korba, 70 in Rajnandgaon, 62 in Durg.
