  • Good news: Salary of more than 1.5 lakh contract employees of Madhya Pradesh will increase by Rs 3,000

    The Finance Department decided the annual salary increment on the basis of Consumer Price Index. This increased amount will be paid at the rate of 3.85 percent from April 1, 2024. Its determination was stopped due to the Lok Sabha elections, now the money will be available under the contract policy.

    State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. The salary of more than 1.5 lakh contract officers and employees of the state will increase from Rs 700 to Rs 3000 from April 1, 2024. On the basis of the Consumer Price Index, the government has decided to give annual salary hike to contract employees at a growth rate of 3.85 percent. Provision has also been made in the budget for this.

    There is a provision to give annual salary increment to contract employees on the basis of consumer price index instead of dearness allowance. As per the instructions issued under the contract policy on 22 July 2023, annual salary increment of contract officers-employees will be done on the basis of consumer price index on April 1 every year.

    Order issued for annual salary increment at the rate of 3.87 percent

    Due to the Lok Sabha elections, it could not be decided. Now the Finance Department has issued orders for annual salary increase at the rate of 3.87 percent, which will be effective from April 1, 2024.

    However, Ramesh Rathore, the state president of Madhya Pradesh Contract Employee Officers Federation, has said that the Consumer Price Index released by the Government of India shows a rate of 5.39 percent. In the state, this rate has been kept at 3.87.

    The outline for this has also been prepared. This contract was signed under the instructions given by the state government a month ago to start courses in the aviation sector. Now the university is also insisting on starting the degree course by October.

    These courses will start in Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior

    The government has written a letter to those universities and government colleges across the state from where aviation related activities are conducted. They have been asked to start courses in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur. For this, universities and colleges have been instructed to sign MoUs with airports, aviation companies and aviation industry.

    The government has emphasized on preparing students for the aviation industry. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has been made the nodal agency. Even Vice Chancellor Dr. Renu Jain has appointed Dr. Preeti Singh as the nodal officer to conduct aviation related courses.

    For the youth who want to work in the aviation industry, the university has decided to start conducting BBA-BCA aviation courses from this session. Three days ago, an agreement was signed between DAVV and MP Flying Club.

    On behalf of DAVV, Vice Chancellor Dr. Jain and Honorary Secretary of MP Flying Club Milind Mahajan signed the MoU. Diploma and degree certificate courses will start in the first phase. The university will tell these students in detail about the aviation industry.

    The club will provide training in pilot-cargo management to the students. During the signing of the MoU, Deputy Registrar Rachna Thakur, former HOD Dr. Sanjeev Tokekar, besides Director Pradeep Joshi and Ketan Moghe from MP Flying Club were present.

    7 day drone pilot program

    Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has organized a seven-day drone pilot certificate course. Three-month courses for Airport Warehouse Coordinator, Safety Crew and Flight Load Coordinator, Airline Reservation Agent and Airline Customer Service Executive will also be conducted.

    Work on the syllabus of these courses will begin in the next few days. Apart from this, one can do four-year courses of BSc Aviation, BBA Aviation Management, Aviation CPL. There are also cabin crew flight dispatcher courses, aviation security and airport operations.

    Cargo management running for four years

    Diploma in Cargo Management has been running in the university for four years. This course is being run from Deendayal Upadhyaya Centre. 12th pass students can take admission in the one-year diploma course. They also get a stipend.

    This course is for the youth

    BBA and BCA courses will be started in aviation. Many short term programs of aviation will also be conducted. Training will be provided for ground staff and cargo management.

    Trained staff will be available

    Employment opportunities in the aviation sector have increased rapidly. With the opening of new airports, many airline companies have come up. But they do not get trained staff. Due to this, they have to first give training for three to four months. But with the start of this course, trained staff will be easily available in the aviation sector.
