  • More than Rs 25 crore sanctioned for an irrigation challenge within the district

    The state authorities has authorised the development and renovation of an irrigation challenge in Bemetara district. According to the order issued by the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhawan, administrative approval of Rs 25 crore 15 lakh 17 thousand has been granted for the transforming and lining work of the miners of Kharra distributary canal below Tandula challenge of Berla growth block in Bemetara district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility might be obtainable in an space of ​​4478 hectares.

  • Efforts to increase the income of minor forest produce collectors – Chief Secretary

    The meeting included Narva development, Recurring grazing scheme (Gauthan), Organic manure production (Ghurwa), Bari development, Godhan Nyaya Yojana (cow dung), River bank planting, F.N. R. A, Biodiversity Board, Wildlife, Small Forest Produce Association, Forest Development Corporation, State Forest Research and Training Institute, Medicinal Plant Board were reviewed. Principal Secretary Mr. Manoj Pingua and senior officials of Forest Department were present in the meeting.

  • Raipur: Rs. 8.81 lakhs approved for Kankesa reservoir of Balrampur

    The state government has sanctioned 8 crore 80 lakh 94 thousand for the revised cost of Kankesa reservoir scheme of Balrampur district. This scheme proposes irrigation of 223 hectares in the area. Administrative approval has been issued to Chief Engineer Hasdeo Ganga Cachar Water Resources Department Ambikapur for completing the works of Kakensa reservoir scheme from Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhavan. Under the scheme, instructions have been given to work with economical cost and quality in construction cost within the stipulated time.
