    Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal. Currently, a cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air around western Jharkhand. 3 other weather systems are also active. Due to this, it is raining at some places in eastern Madhya Pradesh. On Friday, there will be rain in the districts of Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar division. There may be heavy rain at some places. The remaining areas may remain cloudy.

    There may be light showers at some places. However, the chances of the cyclone formed near Jharkhand turning into a low pressure area have reduced. Due to this, there are chances of reduction in rainfall activities in the state after two days. Let us tell you that in this season, from 1 June to 8 August, 645.2 mm rainfall has occurred in the state, which is 18 percent more than the normal rainfall (547.2 mm).

    Due to the effect of these weather systems formed at different places, there will be rain in the districts of Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar division on Friday. Due to which, after two days, there may be a significant decrease in rainfall activity in the entire state. Due to this, there are also chances of the weather becoming clear.

    Heavy rain in many places

    During the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Thursday, very heavy rainfall of 116.6 mm (4.56 inches) was recorded in Bara Seoni of Balaghat. Apart from this, heavy rainfall was recorded in Panagar of Jabalpur at 110.2 mm, Baithan of Singrauli at 110.2 mm, Bijawar of Chhatarpur at 93 mm, Bajna of Ratlam at 92 mm, Kolaras of Shivpuri at 80.7 mm, Ghansor of Seoni at 78 mm, Sihawal of Sidhi at 77.2 mm, Dabra of Gwalior at 75 mm, Matiyari of Mandla at 71 mm, Mandla at 68.8 mm, Baragaon Dhansan of Tikamgarh at 68 mm, Prithvipur of Niwari at 65 mm.

    On Thursday, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Guna recorded 36 mm rainfall, Betul 27 mm, Pachmarhi 13 mm, Seoni 8 mm, Jabalpur 7 mm, Chhindwara and Satna 6 mm, Sagar 4 mm, Khandwa, Malajkhand and Rewa 3 mm, Gwalior 2 mm, Bhopal, Shivpuri, Umaria and Damoh 1 mm and Mandla recorded 0.2 mm rainfall.

    Light rain will continue

    According to meteorologists, intermittent rain will continue in most districts of the state. Heavy rain is likely in the districts of Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol division on Monday. Moderate rain may occur in the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Sagar and Indore division. There are chances of thundershowers in the remaining areas.

    According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, the low pressure area is currently formed around Odisha and Chhattisgarh. The monsoon trough is formed from Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Mandla, Raipur, Puri to the low pressure area. Western disturbance is formed around Pakistan.

    Cyclone present over Saurashtra

    A cyclone is present in the upper part of the air over Saurashtra. A cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air over north-eastern Rajasthan. An offshore trough is formed from Gujarat to Kerala. A shear zone of opposite winds is also formed around Maharashtra.

    The low pressure area formed near Odisha is likely to reach Chhattisgarh and adjoining eastern Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Due to this, there may be heavy rainfall at some places in the districts of Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol division.     Let us tell you that in this season, from June 1 to 8:30 am on July 21, Madhya Pradesh has received a total rainfall of 311.6 mm, which is 7 percent less than the normal rainfall (335.3 mm).

    In the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Sunday, Pipariya recorded 240 mm rainfall, Budhni 182 mm, Barghat 174.4 mm, Shahpur 156 mm, Tamia 155 mm, Katangi 132 mm, Saunsar 118 mm, Seoni 113.6 mm, Pachmarhi 111 mm, Narmadapuram 62 mm, Raisen 57 mm and Malajkhand recorded 547 mm rainfall.
