  • Bhopal News: Accidents were happening due to potholes, constable got them repaired

    Both near Havildar Bridge.

Navdunia representative, Bhopal. Due to the deep potholes on the road in front of the GG flyover Ganesh temple, accidents were happening every day but the authorities were not paying any attention to the repair. Due to the increasing number of accidents, the on-duty traffic constable Jagdish Dangi decided to get the potholes repaired on Sunday.

The constable got the road repaired by calling JCB and gravel. Meanwhile, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan says that the road has been repaired by the corporation staff. At present, no matter who claims to have repaired it, the process of filling the potholes on the roads has begun.

Have got it repaired not once but four times

Havildar Jagdish Dangi posted in traffic told that he has got the road repaired not once but four times. Before the rains, there was a small pothole here, then he had told the PWD engineer. On this, he had said that he would get it repaired after the tender is issued. After this, the rains started, the pothole kept getting bigger day by day and the road started getting uprooted.

Accidents used to happen due to the broken road and potholes, so he had got it repaired two to three times in the past. Due to the heavy rains in the recent past, the potholes had become deep, apart from accidents, even vehicles and ambulances started getting stuck. He informed one of his contractor friends on phone on Monday. On this, he sent a JCB and a dumper of gravel. With the help of his friend, the constable got the road repaired. He said that this step has been taken to prevent accidents and to ensure that traffic is not disrupted.

Because of this the road is getting damaged

Halwadar told that a drain passes near Rani Kamlapati railway station. In which rain water and water from the surrounding area flows. This drain has been closed during the metro rail work. Due to which all its water flows through the road and gets collected in front of Veer Savarkar bridge. This is the reason why potholes are formed on the road.

The municipal commissioner said we have got the repairs done

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan said that wherever there are municipal roads in the city, the repair work is being done by the corporation staff. The corporation has also sent JCB and dumper to repair the road in front of Ganesh Mandir near GG Flyover. The condition is getting worse due to rain, soon the work will be done firmly.
