  • Liam Gallagher stays hopeful of Oasis reunion

    LOS ANGELES: Singer Liam Gallagher hasn’t seen his estranged brother Noel Gallagher in “about 10 years.”

    He claimed: “I like to think Oasis will get back together, but not this week. The door is ajar on everything. I wouldn’t be surprised if space aliens landed tomorrow.     He mentioned: “Everyone goes on about us being the biggest. There were plenty of places where we could’ve been bigger. We were the biggest thing in England. And we were pretty big in Japan. But we weren’t that big in America, not at all. We never played stadiums in Spain. There was a lot more work to be done, so we shouldn’t have split up, because we could have made more records. It’s a shame.”

    Meanwhile, Liam insisted it was his future to be a performer.

    He added, “I do believe I was supposed to be on a stage singing songs. I’ve got some good lungs on me.”

When you’re in a band, it’s an absolute compromise so no I don’t think I could come up with an idea and then run it by four people and then six weeks later, somebody knocks it back because their cat’s got a cough so I like to march to the beat of my own drum. Oasis is done I’m afraid,” says Noel, who was songwriter, lead guitarist, and co-lead vocalist of the band.
