    This scheme, designed for the all-round development of the state under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, is now becoming a reality on the ground. Through Narva Vikas Yojna, rain water harvesting, storage, irrigation and providing employment to the rural people in the village Tibupali of the district are rapidly increasing the means of their livelihood. Under this scheme, in the year 2019, more and more water is being provided to farmers for maximum irrigation by constructing the canal and side canal structure in place. At the same time water conservation and promotion is taking place. Under this, farmers here are getting more benefits in farming. With the formation of the structure, other farmers like Chatram, Gopi, Nilambar, Sukhsagar, Guruvaru, Avon, Jaghuvan, Gelai, Dhaniram etc. got diagnosed with irrigation problem and this year more and more paddy was produced.

    The Chhattisgarh government is providing irrigation facility to the farmers’ fields. Under the Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, wells are allowed to be dug in farmers’ fields. Shri Chapa Satyam, a farmer of village Eelmidi under Usur block of Bijapur district, had land but due to lack of irrigation, he used to work with his family in Mahatma Gandhi NREGA and seek employment here and there. One day Chapa Satyam came to know in the meeting of the Gram Panchayat that the well is also approved by the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme. In consultation with his family, he submitted the necessary documents related to the well construction in the Gram Panchayat. Soon approval was also received from the District Panchayat. As soon as this information was received by Mr. Chapa Satyam, his happiness did not remain. He started the construction of a well in his private land. Digging a well digging only 20 feet Water also came out. Satyam’s family also became very happy after seeing the water, as the means of irrigation for the fields started to appear. Chapa Satyam completed the construction of the well within 13 months to realize his dream.

        The biggest problem of Satyam was now solved, now he wanted to earn extra income by planting crops on this land. For this, Satyam decided to grow vegetables in his one acre land. In no time, Satyam sowed potatoes, cabbage, brinjals, gourd, tomatoes, peas and spinach and Lalbhaji. Satyam is getting regular income from vegetables and vegetables due to irrigation. Vegetable and other crops are being produced and sold in both Rabi and Kharif seasons on this land through Satyam. Due to which, earning of 10 to 20 thousand rupees per month. Satyam Mahatma Gandhi is earning regular income with the help of NREGA wells. Satyam said that our income has increased due to construction of wells under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme and we are living happily with our family.

The BJP leader is currently on a 120-day nationwide tour in a bid to expand and strengthen the saffron party across all stated ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. The BJP national president is scheduled to visit Uttar Pradesh for two-days in late December and the UP unit of the party is currently preparing for the visit. The saffron party will appoint the state presidents of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha during the national president’s visit. Nadda had earlier visited Bengal where his convoy was attacked. According to the BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, JP Nadda will give priority to the constituencies where BJP lost during the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in order to further strengthen the party. Incidentally, the WB CM’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee represents the Diamond Harbour constituency in the Lok Sabha. Subsequently, Nadda addressed the public meeting and alleged that the state had slipped into “complete lawlessness and goonda raj”.         Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the Panchayati Raj representatives along with the government have played an important role in the village to deal with the crisis of global epidemic like Corona in the state. In the quarantine centers set up in the villages, they also participated in the food and water of the people affected by the corona and coming from outside, and better arrangements for their stay. In the same way, the government is also discharging its responsibility in the operation of every schemes and programs related to rural development. Chief Minister Shri Baghel has given a program through video conferencing in Korba, Bijapur, Balod, Geidam-Dakshin Bastar (Dantewada), Surguja, Patan-Durg, Discussed with the Panchayat representatives of Jashpur and Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi districts and also inquired about the development activities conducted there. Expressing happiness over the fact that more than half of the newly elected panchayat representatives in Chhattisgarh were women, this said that women in the state were also getting ample opportunities to move forward.

         The family of Mrs. Sulochini resides in Bichhali, a dependent village of Dangaura, a village panchayat under Manendragarh district panchayat. In this family, Sukhiram, son of Sulochini Devi, Gajroop Singh and Ramdhan have a total of 17 family members living together. There is around 3-4 acres of agricultural land around his house, which is for rainfed dependent farming only. Three years ago, this family made the family aware of their major problem water, under the Hamar village Hamar scheme, reached the village panchayat. While making the list of works in the gram panchayat, the demand for the well was listed for this family and based on the proposal of the gram sabha, a well of one lakh 80 thousand was approved from the district panchayat in the year 2017 itself. Under the supervision of Technical Assistant Mrs. Anju Rani, the construction work of this well started in January 2018 and was completed in June. He told that there are a total of three different job cards including the members of this family, out of which 8 members working in this well received about 43 thousand seven hundred rupees as wages.
