Minister Govind Singh is accused of making Man Singh disappear. The Supreme Court ordered the formation of a new SIT. The OBC Mahasabha had filed a petition in the Supreme Court.

Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. The Supreme Court has ordered the formation of a new Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the case of Man Singh Patel who has been missing from Sagar since 2016. The order to form the SIT seems to be increasing the problems of Minister Govind Singh Rajput.

    This is the whole matter

It is worth noting that Man Singh Patel has been missing since 2016. In a land dispute case, his son Sitaram Patel had accused Govind Singh Rajput and his associates of making his father disappear. Sitaram had applied to register an FIR in the police station, but the police registered Man Singh’s missing report.

After the minister’s name came up in this case, the police formed an SIT for investigation. The Supreme Court termed the investigation of this SIT as a mere sham and ordered to form a new SIT and include senior IPS officers from other states in it for investigation.

Minister accused of occupying ancestral land

Man Singh’s son Sitaram Patel had accused minister Govind Singh Rajput of his father’s disappearance and taking over his ancestral land. OBC Mahasabha had filed a petition in the Supreme Court in this matter. Man Singh’s son Sitaram Patel had claimed that his father went missing in August 2016 when he filed a complaint against Rajput. Sitaram had alleged that his father was made to disappear to silence him and take over the property.

Complaints were made several times on CM helpline too

Despite complaining to the local administration and CM helpline several times, no concrete police action was taken to trace Man Singh. After this, Sitaram approached the Supreme Court through the OBC Mahasabha.

I am in Guna right now. The Supreme Court has ordered the formation of an SIT in the case of the missing person. I welcome this, his family should get justice. I have especially heard from some people that who has been commented against in this, so neither has the court made any comment against me, nor have I been given any notice till date. Nor have I been called for investigation. I have got complete justice from the court in the conspiracy hatched by my political opponents. I will go to court against those who will make baseless statements and propaganda without reading the statement of the Supreme Court. If they do not agree, I will also file a defamation case. – Govind Singh Rajput, Minister

The forest department team explained to the people. At present, no violent incident has taken place in the area. Signs of people returning to the forest have also been found.

Navdunia representative, Sagar. On Sunday, people of the area were shocked to see the footprints of a leopard and its cub in a farmer’s field near Mashanjhiri in Ambedkar Ward. The local people informed the forest department officials about this, after which many footprints were found around the field. They confirmed the presence of a leopard and advised the people around to be cautious so that no untoward incident occurs.

According to the information, on Sunday, Rakesh Patel, a farmer of the Mashanjhiri valley of the Municipal Corporation area, was working in his field. During this time, he saw that where he had sown, there were footprints of a large animal which were symbolizing a species larger than a cat.

Seeing these marks, he became worried and kept searching around for a long time. He found paw marks in many places. When he informed Guddan Singh Thakur, a snake catcher living nearby, he told him that these appeared to be the marks of a leopard or a lion.

There were also signs of return

After receiving the information, Forest Department employee Deepak Mishra said that on the instructions of the area’s ranger, I have come here and inspected the spot. Initially, these are the footprints of a large animal of the cat species. Here, near Mashanjhiri, in Arjani and Ameth areas, a leopard roams with its cub, on which we keep an eye.

It is clear from the footprints that these could be the paw marks of a leopard and it has a baby with it. Many paw marks of these two are visible in this field, but it has not gone towards the settlement but has returned to the forest.

The farm is near the Prime Minister’s residence

Rakesh Patel’s farm is just a few steps away from the Prime Minister’s residence in Mashanjhiri area, behind which is Ameth and Arjani. Forest worker Mr. Mishra said that this animal came here and then traces of it returning to the forest have also been found. Information of two to three leopards is received in Arjani and Rajaua area. It has not gone towards the Prime Minister’s residence and the colony, but we have informed the people living nearby to be alert and to carry wood and rods at night and if they see a leopard, they should also burst crackers.

The area will be covered, no violent incident occurred

Forest worker Mr. Mishra said that after seeing this leopard, we keep the area covered and also inform the people around. There are frequent reports of leopards roaming around near Arjani, Ameth and Hafsili. We have also put up posters many times so that people remain alert at night. So far, there has been no complaint of this animal harming any human or domestic animal in the area. For now, we will keep an eye on this area by covering it.
