Gwalior. Naiduniya representative. Tigress Meera gave birth to three cubs in Gwalior Zoo on Sunday night. Two of these cubs are white and one is yellow. According to the zoo management, all three cubs and tigress Meera are healthy.
Let us tell you here that the tigress Durga of the zoo gave birth to 3 cubs on 28 June. Tourists have started seeing Durga’s cubs from Monday itself. In such a situation, the happiness in Gwalior Zoo has doubled. The special thing is that within two months, two tigresses of the zoo have given birth to cubs and all are healthy.
From today, tourists will be able to see the cubs in the zoo
Tourists will be able to see three 39-day-old tiger cubs in the zoo from 12 noon today. Along with this, tourists will also be able to suggest names of their choice to name these cubs in the zoo. After this, these cubs will be named on the basis of mutual consent. Mayor Dr. Shobha Sikarwar, Chairman Manoj Singh Tomar and Commissioner Harsh Singh will be present on this occasion. Tiger Durga gave birth to these cubs on 28 June in the zoo and the sex of these cubs was identified on the occasion of International Tiger Day. Two of these are female and one is a male cub. The male cub is white in colour while the female cubs are yellow in colour. Currently, there are nine tigers in the zoo. There are six yellow and three white tigers among them. Four of the nine tigers are male and two are female. In the zoo, the tiger becomes survivable as soon as it is born.
