    Let us tell you that after verifying the loss of crops, the state government provides compensation amount and other relief to the farmers. But, in some cases, verification of crops of some farmers could not be completed due to technical shortcomings. Re-verification was not done, due to which some farmers could not get relief and compensation amount. Expressing strictness, CM Yogi has sought answers from the officials and has also given instructions to give immediate compensation to the deprived farmers. The Chief Minister found in the review meeting that compensation could not be paid to thousands of farmers affected by crops damaged by disasters in the financial years 2021-22 and 2022-23 due to Aadhaar, account number and duplication during data feeding. He had instructed the officials to give assistance to the farmers deprived of compensation after re-verification.

    Despite instructions from the Chief Minister, officials of many districts did not conduct a survey of the farmers affected by damaged crops. It is alleged that when the girl reached the given address, Yasin was present there along with his brother-in-law Hasan. Both of them together raped the girl. From there the girl was coaxed and sent back home. The victim informed her family about the incident. After which the family reached the accused’s house. Panchayat was held between both the parties.

    After that, the victim started living with Yasin at his house on 3 July 2023. Even after six months had passed, Yasin did not marry the victim. On the contrary, he also started giving death threats. It is alleged that on January 25, the accused along with his family members and relatives started beating him. Then they tried to kill the victim by sprinkling kerosene oil on her. Somehow, the girl managed to escape and reached Baghauchghat police station on Saturday and lodged a complaint with the police.
