Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat stated on Friday that if a criticism is acquired over the circumstances associated to the resignation of the state group’s coach Wasim Jaffer, and the following allegations made towards the previous India opener, a probe could also be ordered into the matter.

“I have not received any written complaint from any side so far. Some people had met me and had raised the matter. But I have got no complaint so far. If any complaint comes, certainly that can be thoroughly inquired into,” the chief minister stated.

Jaffer resigned final week citing interference in choice by CAU secretary Mahim Verma and different office-bearers. A day later, Verma accused Jaffer of making an attempt to communalise the dressing room.
On Sunday, a delegation comprising Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU) treasurer Prithvi Singh Negi, vice-president Sanjay Rawat and joint secretary Avnish Verma had met Rawat in Dehradun the place the Jaffer subject was additionally mentioned.

After the controversy erupted, three office-bearers of the state physique wrote to its president JS Gunsola demanding a gathering of the apex council to determine whether or not to conduct an inside inquiry.
