  • Will Yogi destroy him with the weapon of Keshav? Or Shri Sangathan vs Government, CM Yogi’s meeting with this MLA creates big political stir

Vikram Mishra, Lucknow. The political chess game of power is currently at its peak in Uttar Pradesh. The workers are scared of the possibility of checkmate and reversal of the game between Yogi government minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and government head Yogi Adityanath.

Every day, a new game is being seen in the fight between Keshav and Yogi. In which NDA alliance member, party’s Surma Nishad Party’s president and cabinet minister in Yogi government, Dr. Sanjay Nishad met the state government’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya and expressed his grief that despite being in the government, he has no say in the administration. While immediately after the meeting, he met the Chief Minister and expressed concern about the state and the safety of his son and Chauri Chaura MLA Sarwan Nishad.

In the latest development, Pallavi Patel, who defeated Keshav Prasad Maurya from his traditional seat in the 22 elections and won the election on the cycle symbol, met CM Yogi. This meeting lasted for about half an hour, many political meanings are being drawn from it.

Let us tell you that Anupriya Patel and Pallavi Patel, who were ministers in the central government, are daughters of late Sone Lal Patel, the founder of Apna Dal. In politics, both are eternal rivals of each other. While in the political game, both are busy in cutting each other. Apart from this, Pallavi and Anupriya do have their own influence in the Kurmi vote bank, but in the previous assembly elections, Pallavi had made her political status clear by defeating the current Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad. Even in the strong wave of BJP, she had tasted victory by defeating the Deputy Chief Minister in the government and former BJP state president from his traditional seat.

  • Third eye: Ajit Pawar’s plan, Yogi’s prestige issue & relief for K’taka BJP

Keeping powder dryNearly 20 officebearers, including corporators, belonging to Ajit Pawarled NCP joining Sharad Pawar’s NCPSP is seen by many in Maharashtra politics as a curtain raiser before the real prepoll strike by the 83yearold never saydie Maratha Strongman. Sharad Pawar choosing PimpriChinchwad for triggering the first exodus is seen as deliberate as the area is widely seen among the strongest turf of Ajit Pawar. The upcoming strikes could see many senior leaders of Ajit Pawar’s party, including MLAs and some state ministers, crossing over. Given that Ajit Pawar is an acknowledged political acrobat, what he will plan for himself and where that will land BJP before polls is also being animatedly discussed.

Not Just ByelectionsAssembly byelections are not taken very seriously by any government that has a safe majority in the House. However, after BJP’s lackluster performance in UP in the recent Lok Sabha polls, chief minister Yogi Adityanath has made it a prestige issue to wrest all the 10 MLA seats going for bypolls. Some ministers and senior leaders given charge of the seats are spending a lot of time at ground zero. CM himself may campaign which is not the norm in bypolls.

Moment of ReliefAfter the election of BJP leader Kota Srinivas Poojary to Lok Sabha, Karnataka’s legislative council has been without the leader of Opposition. BJP leaders do not think the ‘indecision’ will end soon as it took six months to name an Opposition leader in the assembly last year. The ruling Congress, battling a slew of scams, of course is not complaining.
