BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra, in an IANS interaction, declared the NDA alliance in Tamil Nadu ‘very strong’ as public discontent with DMK mounts. ‘People are tired of the corruption plaguing DMK; the state is in chaos,’ he said Thursday.

The conversation also touched on the acquittal of Sajjan Kumar by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court in the 1984 riots case. ‘Investigation complete, trial fair. Acquitted now—appeal pending? Higher courts will have the final say. Premature to judge,’ Mishra noted prudently.

On AMMK joining NDA, he exuded optimism. ‘This partnership is powerful. Tamil Nadu’s electorate is done with DMK’s graft and disorder—echoing jungle raj. Piyush Goyal’s forecast of NDA government is on point,’ Mishra emphasized.

Slamming I-PAC over mysterious loans, Mishra called it a ‘scam outfit’ behind ED raids. ‘The Haryana company? Phantom existence. Truths will surface. Mamata Banerjee preemptively looted their office to hide evidence,’ he accused.

Mishra addressed Bangladesh’s World Cup woes: ‘Hindus unsafe amid deteriorating conditions. India welcomes them; Bangladesh can’t justify endangering its people.’

With NDA bolstering ranks, Tamil Nadu’s political landscape is ripe for upheaval. Mishra’s remarks reflect BJP’s strategy to unseat DMK through united opposition.
