Tata Motors has refreshed the Harrier with the new Adventure X and Adventure X Plus variants for 2025, aiming to provide strong value with their features. The Harrier is now competing with the Hyundai Creta SX(O) diesel in the Indian market. Both SUVs cater to customers looking for a capable diesel model without a focus on excessive luxury. Size-wise, the Tata Harrier Adventure X is larger than the Hyundai Creta. The Harrier, with a length of 4,605 mm, a width of 1,922 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,741 mm, offers more interior space compared to the Creta’s 4,330 mm length, 1,790 mm width, and 2,610 mm wheelbase.
The Harrier Adventure X is equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine that delivers 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque, available with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. The Creta SX(O) diesel has a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, also offered with manual and automatic transmissions.

The Creta has an advantage with its automatic version. The diesel automatic Creta is priced at Rs 20 lakh, while the Harrier Adventure X automatic is priced at Rs 20.69 lakh.
