Tata Motors is set to introduce four new petrol cars in the Indian market this fiscal year, with the aim of reinforcing its market position and attracting customers looking for value-oriented options. This move reflects the company’s strategy to expand its petrol model lineup.

Tata Punch facelift: The Tata Punch, already a popular choice, will get a facelift, expected in October. This will include a new design for the bumper and grill, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The interior is also expected to be updated, with a new digital instrument cluster.

Tata Harrier: The Harrier could be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection petrol engine, generating 168hp and 280Nm of torque. The launch is anticipated between January and March. The SUV may come with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

Tata Sierra: The Sierra is expected to be launched early next year. Tata Motors might offer it with two petrol engine options. A 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection petrol engine could produce 168hp and 280 Nm of torque. A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated version might also be available, aimed at buyers who value fuel efficiency and affordability. Both engines may have a 6-speed manual transmission, and an automatic transmission could be an option on the turbocharged engine variant.

Tata Safari: The Safari, a three-row SUV with 6 and 7-seat configurations, is expected to be launched between January and March with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The performance of this model, particularly the power and torque, will be closely watched.
