Tata Motors is providing attractive offers for the festive season, aimed at helping customers save on car purchases. These offers combine the benefits of recent GST rate reductions with exclusive festive discounts. Customers can potentially save up to ₹2 lakh, dependent on the specific model. The offer period is limited and ends on September 30, 2025.
SUV models are offering the most significant savings. The Nexon, Safari, and Harrier models are the top choices, with potential savings up to ₹2 lakh. This saving comprises GST benefits and Tata’s festive offers. Nexon benefits from a GST change resulting in approximately ₹1.55 lakh in savings, along with a festive offer of ₹45,000. Safari and Harrier also give approximately ₹1.9 lakh savings.
Hatchbacks are also part of the festive offers, giving significant savings. The Altroz saves approximately ₹1.76 lakh, Punch, Tiago and Tigor also give savings. The Tiago gives savings of approximately ₹1.2 lakh. Tigor gives ₹1.11 lakh benefit.
The new GST 2.0, which came into effect on September 22, 2025, reduced the prices of cars and SUVs in India. Small petrol/LPG/CNG cars (up to 1200cc and 4000mm length) and diesel cars (up to 1500cc and 4000mm length) are taxed at 18%. Large SUVs (engine exceeding 1500cc or length exceeding 4000mm) have 40% GST.
