Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi will be the epicenter of AI innovation as the India AI Impact Summit unfolds from February 16 to 20. This pioneering summit, the first of its kind in the Global South, will welcome global representatives, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to officially launch the event.
At the heart of India’s progress, AI enhances governance efficiency and public service accessibility, driving broad-based development that aligns seamlessly with the 2047 developed nation vision. India’s tapestry of languages and cultures offers a fertile ground for advancing AI systems that are multilingual, adaptable, and inclusive.
Expect dynamic sessions with influential leaders, policymakers, industry titans, and thought leaders debating AI’s role in reshaping governance, sparking innovation, and ensuring sustainable growth. The summit will operationalize insights from international AI forums, linking them to India’s IndiaAI Mission and Digital India efforts for real-world impact, inclusive multilateralism, and citizen-oriented AI governance.
India’s commitment shines through initiatives like the IndiaAI Mission, which invests in computing infrastructure, indigenous AI development, and massive skill-building for responsible AI use. The event will propel global collaboration, ethical AI practices, and sector-specific adoption, establishing India as the go-to destination for AI breakthroughs and digital resilience.
Building momentum, eight state-level AI conferences in partnership with regional governments—from Meghalaya to Telangana—were conducted between late 2025 and early 2026, harmonizing national ambitions with grassroots requirements.
