The highly anticipated Minecraft 1.21.9 update, “The Copper Age,” is scheduled to be released on September 30, 2025. This update marks a significant change, finally providing players with an array of uses for copper. Central to this update is the introduction of the Copper Golem. Beyond the new mob, Mojang is significantly expanding the copper-related content, including copper lanterns, torches, bars, tools, armour, and more. This update is designed to offer something for everyone, whether players enjoy exploration, combat, or building. The update offers Copper Chests, Copper Golems, Copper Decorations, a Copper Golem Statue, Shelves, Copper Tools and Armour, and Chat Drafts. Bug fixes will also be implemented to provide a better and more enjoyable gameplay experience. Previews and snapshots of the new features are currently available in beta.
