Sony has launched the GP-VPT3 wireless shooting grip and RMT-VP2 remote commander in India, providing photographers and videographers with new tools for better control. The GP-VPT3 integrates a grip, a tripod, and a detachable remote, improving the ease of use for Alpha™ Series and Vlog Camera Series users. It can support up to 1.5 kg, allowing for convenient zoom and focus adjustments. The RMT-VP2 remote allows for shutter control from up to 10 meters, ideal for capturing group photos or working in low light. The camera design enables seamless switching between selfie and other shooting modes, with a tilt function for angle adjustment. Wireless connectivity is provided for Sony cameras and Xperia™ smartphones while maintaining protection against dust and moisture. The GP-VPT3 is priced at Rs 13,990 and is available in black and white, while the RMT-VP2 is available for Rs 7,990. Both accessories will be available from June 10, 2025, across Sony retail channels and online platforms.
