“A National Digital Library for kids and adolescents can be arrange for facilitating the supply of high quality books throughout geographies, languages, genres and ranges and device-agnostic accessibility,” Sitharaman stated, including that it will assist kids and adolescents overcome studying losses because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She added that “states can be inspired to arrange bodily libraries for them at panchayat and ward ranges and supply infrastructure for accessing the National Digital Library sources.”

The National Book Trust (NBT), the Children’s Book Trust (CBT), and different sources can be inspired to replenish titles in regional languages in these libraries, the minister stated.
