Galaxy Buds Pro are Samsung’s next wireless earbuds
It was already expected that Samsung would launch new wireless earbuds with the Galaxy S21 series. It has done that for both Galaxy S flagships launched over the last two years. A new report now suggests that Samsung might be calling these earbuds.
Earlier reports have suggested that Samsung’s new earbuds will be called Galaxy Buds Beyond. That doesn’t appear to be the case. These new earbuds are going to be the direct successors to the Galaxy Buds+ that were launched with the Galaxy S20 series.
A certification published by Indonesia’s regulatory authority has confirmed the name for Samsung’s next wireless earbuds. They’re going to be called the Galaxy Buds Pro and will bear model number SM-R190. China’s 3C regulator has also certified these earbuds. That listing reveals that these earbuds will have a 472 mAh battery in the case.
We exclusively revealed some details about Samsung’s next wireless earbuds earlier today. We hear that they’re going to have the same design as the Galaxy Buds+. They’re also likely to feature Active Noise Cancellation, a feature that has only been offered on the Galaxy Buds Live by Samsung so far.
It’s unclear exactly how much the Galaxy Buds Pro will cost separately. We can expect them to be offered alongside the Galaxy S21 series as a pre-order incentive. Samsung has been doing this for the past couple of years as well.
