Bihar’s political temperature soared in Patna on Saturday during RJD’s Karpoori Thakur jayanti event, where Tejashwi Yadav launched a multi-pronged offensive on the BJP-led NDA. From dynasty accusations to scathing governance indictments, the Leader of Opposition left no stone unturned.

Addressing journalists, Yadav encapsulated the electoral reality: ‘In this so-called democracy, people were defeated by the establishment.’ Yet, 60% opposed the regime propped by state machinery, and RJD’s 1.9 crore votes underscored the mandate for transformation.

Channeling Thakur and Lalu’s defiance, he declared undeterred resolve: ‘They’ve commercialized public service, but we fight on—victory belongs to the persistent.’

Thakur’s dream of equity eludes Bihar amid entrenched poverty, migration, and unemployment, thanks to rulers who once vilified him. ‘Power-hungry for two decades, they prioritize cronies, mull Constitution tweaks, and undermine democracy,’ Yadav alleged.

The state’s law enforcement is in shambles, he stressed—crime surging, women vulnerable, leaders mum on Shambhu Hostel outrage. He ridiculed a self-proclaimed BJP sage’s quip about crime dipping during his travels: ‘With rapes and murders rampant, they trivialize tragedy. Post-poll buzz fixates on my ‘defeat,’ not their ‘victory.”’

Yadav flipped the script on family rule, congratulating Nitin Nabin while asking, ‘His dad’s role? Textbook nepotism!’ He grilled the PM: ‘No tweet on child rapes? Where are you?’

Opting for a 100-day gag on anti-government barbs to dodge propaganda, Yadav revealed ambitions: post-session statewide yatra for organizational revival. ‘RJD remains formidable. We’ll relentlessly champion the masses from roads to halls of power,’ he vowed.
