– Mahapanchayat held in Lokar village regarding rape of an eight year old innocent girl
Naiduniya representative, Morena. The family of 28-year-old Uday Singh, son of Sahab Singh Gurjar, accused of raping an eight-year-old girl in a village in Nagra police station area, has been ostracized from society. Apart from this, the Gurjar community will now provide financial assistance along with security to the victim’s family.
This decision was taken in the Maha Panchayat of Rashtriya Gurjar Swabhiman Sangharsh Samiti held in Shikahara village on Thursday. Apart from the state president of the committee Bhupendra Singh Gurjar, district president Dinesh Singh Gurjar, representatives of Gurjar community from villages of Gwalior and Morena district, people from Kshatriya, Kushwaha, Baghel and Jatav community also participated.
It came to light in the meeting that the victim’s family is scared of the accused party, on this it was decided that every possible help, from security to financial help, will be provided to the victim’s family.
Girl in shock after condition improves
The rape victim is admitted in the ICU of the district hospital since Monday night, where her condition is improving, but she is unable to recover from the shock. The girl gets scared on seeing any stranger. The victim’s relatives said that the accused’s family is a domineering one, who will not let her live in the village easily. Seeing such circumstances, the police have put in place security arrangements in the victim’s house and the ICU.
