    The South Indian film industry is experiencing a global boom, with its movies gaining popularity worldwide. This success has brought significant recognition to actors like Sathyaraj. Sathyaraj gained widespread fame for his role as Kattappa in the pan-Indian hit Baahubali. Before his role in Baahubali, Sathyaraj was seen in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express. In this film, he played Deepika’s father and was well-regarded for his performance, sharing scenes with Shah Rukh Khan. Sathyaraj is a highly respected name in South Indian cinema, known for delivering impactful performances even in supporting roles. Recently, he played a significant role in Rajinikanth’s film Coolie, where he portrayed Rajinikanth’s close friend. Born on October 3, 1954, in Coimbatore, the actor is celebrating his 71st birthday. As a child, he looked up to M. G. Ramachandran and Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna. Though his mother was initially against his aspirations, he pursued his dream and achieved stardom. Sathyaraj has appeared in over 250 films throughout his career, including several Hindi films. He made his Hindi debut in Chennai Express, and his filmography includes titles like Radhe Shyam, Munja, Sikandar, and the upcoming film Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
