Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Say participated in the Parvatadan (Anna) and Ashwamedh Yagna Mahotsav

Raipur, December 26, 2024/ Our government is continuously working for the happiness and prosperity of the people. The procurement of paddy at ₹3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre has brought prosperity to the farmers. Through the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, we are giving ₹1000 per month to 70 lakh mothers and sisters every month. We are going to start the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yatra Yojana for the pilgrimage to major pilgrimage sites of the country. Through this scheme, pilgrims will also get the opportunity for free pilgrimage. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say said this while addressing the Parvatadan (Anna) and Ashwamedh Yagna Mahotsav organized in Timarlaga village of Sarangarh Bilaigarh district today.

Addressing the Parvatadan and Ashwamedh Yagna Mahotsav in Timarlaga village, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say said that whenever large religious events take place, the entire surrounding area becomes immersed in the colors of devotion. Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram. This is the land where Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile. In Shivnaryan, on the sacred land of Chhattisgarh, Mother Shabri offered Lord Shri Ram juthu berries. Our Chhattisgarh land is very sacred. Here, in Turturiya, is the ashram of Valmiki Ji. The Valmiki Ashram is the land where Luv and Kush captured the horse of the Ashwamedh Yagna. The memories of Lord Shri Ram reside in every particle of Chhattisgarh. We are continuously working to preserve the memories of Lord Shri Ram.

Chief Minister Shri Say said that we are also working to connect the five Shakti Peethas of the state. We have also restarted the Kumbh Mela in Rajim, the city of Triveni Sangam.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say announced the upgradation of the middle school of Timarlaga village to a high school, the development and beautification of Maa Nathal Dai as a tourist center, and the upgradation of the sub-health center of Timarlaga village to a primary health center. On this occasion, Raigarh MP Radha Shyam Rathia, Smt. Kera Bai Manhar, Shamsher Singh, Smt. Pushpa Devi Singh, and other dignitaries were present.
