During the counseling of surplus teachers, the department has made the posts of Sanskrit subject for higher secondary teachers in higher secondary schools void on the portal. Due to this, there is a surplus of teachers teaching Sanskrit in schools.

this is the system in schools

Whereas, secondary teachers or higher secondary teachers teach Sanskrit subject in ninth and tenth standard. In 11th and 12th standard, only higher secondary teachers teach Sanskrit subject. The department has put the Sanskrit teachers teaching in high and higher secondary schools in the surplus list.

    Such discrepancies are emerging

Sanskrit students are studying in both the 11th and 12th classes in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Civil Line, Katni. The post of higher secondary teacher has been made vacant in this school. Dinesh Kumar Tiwari, the Sanskrit teacher posted in the school, has become surplus. Sandeep Kumar Dubey used to teach students from 9th to 12th in Tara Sevania School of the capital.

When she did choice filling, the post was shown vacant in this school. On that basis, the posting was done, but now it has been included in the surplus. At the same time, teacher Asma is posted on the post of Geographer in Laxmiganj School, but her post is shown as zero on the portal. That is why it is included in the surplus.

    They say that

-In the counseling of surplus, the posts of teachers of Sanskrit and Geography subjects are showing zero on the portal. The portal will be corrected and updated.
