Jharkhand News | Kasmar (Bokaro), lamp question: Neither boundary, nor electricity. This is the condition of Kedla’s upgrade high school. There is a Kedla high school in Kedla village situated on the Hisim mountain, called the Naxal -affected area of Kasmar block of Bokaro district. A few years ago, the new building of this school has been prepared. Children’s education started in the new building. This school has not been able to get electricity connection till now. However, for the electricity connection, the then principal wrote a letter to the Assistant Electrical Engineer of Jayamod Electricity Sub-Station on 16 August 2022.
Children take children to old building for computer class
The then Principal had said that due to lack of electricity connection in the new building, many necessary works are not being done. Even after almost two and a half years of the application, the department has not shown seriousness on this. Due to lack of electricity connection, CCTV camera, fan etc. could not be started in the new building. Many other important works are also disrupted. Not only this, children have to be taken to the old building of the school for computer class.

Children are insecure due to lack of boundary in the school. The villagers said that the new building was constructed, but boundary walls have not been built. Villagers said that other violent animals including wild elephants keep coming in this area.

English is not able to study in school
English studies are being affected due to not having an English teacher in the school. English teacher Divyendu Chel has been transferred to Plus Two High School Harnad. The new teacher has not been posted. Due to this, English is not being studied.

Twenty -point president expressed anger
Dilip Kumar Hembram, chairman of the Block Twenty Point Committee, resident of Kedla village, has expressed anger at the electricity department for not giving electricity connection in the school. Dilip Kumar Hembram said that after the problem came to cognizance, he himself spoke to the officials of the electricity department several times, but the officials are careless. He said that if the school does not get electricity connection soon, then they will complain directly to the Chief Minister.
