    Naiduniya Representative, Rewa: In Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, four children died after being buried under the rubble when the wall of a house located near the entrance of a private school collapsed on Saturday. The condition of a girl and a female parent remains critical. This tragic incident took place near Sun Rise School in Garh town.

    Accident during school holidays

    At the time of the accident, the school was over and the children were coming out of the school. Many parents were standing outside waiting for their children. Rewa Collector Pratibha Pal has confirmed the death of four children. The administration has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

    The wall of another house outside the school collapsed

    According to Superintendent of Police Vivek Kumar Singh, this incident happened at Garh village of Garh police station area at 3 pm on Saturday. Sunrise school was closed. During this time, the parents of the children were standing to pick them up. The children were leaving the school and as soon as they reached the wall of a house built next to the school, it collapsed and fell on the children.

    Eight children including a woman were buried under the rubble

    In the accident, eight children including a female guardian were buried under the debris, while two children were partially injured. When the wall collapsed, people nearby carried out rescue operations along with the Garh police. Seven children and a female guardian buried under the debris were taken to the hospital for treatment.

    Four children died, woman is critical

    Five-year-old Anshika Gupta, seven-year-old Manya Gupta, five-year-old Anuj Prajapati and five-year-old Siddharth Gupta were declared dead. Eight-year-old Raksha Gupta and 28-year-old female guardian Rani Prajapati are undergoing treatment in a critical condition. Of these, Anshika, Manya and Siddharth were children of the same family. Siddharth was the only brother of his eight sisters.
