    The Delhi Premier League (DPL) saw an exciting contest between the New Delhi Tigers and the Outer Delhi Warriors at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The New Delhi Tigers emerged victorious by 40 runs. The Tigers, batting first, started with a hiccup as opener Dhruv Kaushik was dismissed early. Himmat Singh, the captain, and Shivam Gupta then built a formidable partnership, scoring over 150 runs. Shivam Gupta scored an impressive 89 runs off 53 balls, including 8 fours and 4 sixes, and Himmat Singh contributed a valuable 69 runs off 39 balls. Keshav Dalal played a short but impactful innings, scoring 19 runs off just 9 balls to take the team’s total to 222, the highest in the season. Anshuman Hooda from the Outer Delhi Warriors stood out, taking his first fifer of the season. The Warriors responded with a solid start, with Priyansh Arya (26) and Sanat Sangwan (48) forming a 69-run partnership. However, the Tigers managed to contain the Warriors, despite valiant efforts from Shreshth Yadav (37) and Dhruv Singh (38).
