He physically verified the availability, storage and distribution of fertilizers and seeds there. He asked about the number of farmers in the committee, the rate of fertilizers and closely observed the maintained register. Along with this, he talked to farmer Yogesh Sahu of Baijna and farmer Somsingh of Khairjhiti on the phone and got information about getting fertilizers urea, DAP, potash, super phosphate, KCC loan and matched it with the computer.
Collector Rahul Dev said during this time that strict action will be taken on complaints of negligence in fertilizer-seed storage and distribution work in the committees and distribution of substandard fertilizer and seeds. He asked the farmers to inform on the helpline number 9406275534 issued by the district administration in case of any problem in getting fertilizer-seed.
The collector got his BP checked
Collector Rahul Dev inspected the sub-health center in village Lauda of Patharia development block and reviewed the facilities available for patients there. He inquired about cleanliness, drinking water, medicines, institutional delivery, regular vaccination, tuberculosis, hypertension, sugar, sickle cell test, Ayushman card distribution etc. During this, he also got his blood pressure checked.
Inspection of sickle cell screening camp
In fact, Collector Rahul Dev inspected the sickle cell testing camp organized in the Gram Panchayat Bhawan of village Lauda of Patharia development block. He took information regarding the identification, diagnosis and prevention of sickle cell disease and gave necessary instructions. During this, the doctor present there gave information about the number of tests, sickle cell carriers, counseling of patients and confirmation of patients who tested positive by PUC kit. The collector talked to the villagers and motivated everyone to get sickle cell tested.
