    Today’s Top News: Raipur. On the occasion of 24th anniversary of Chhattisgarh state and Diwali, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai participated in the lighting program of 11 thousand lamps organized at Ekatm Path of Naya Raipur. He lit the lamp ritually amidst chanting of mantras. This event is a symbol of the cultural heritage and unity of the state, through which the culture of Chhattisgarh was displayed. The lighting of the lamps brought new energy and enthusiasm, which will enhance the pride of the state.

    Korba. A tragic incident took place at the Family Counseling Center located in Rampur in the district, where the husband and wife had gone for counselling. During this time the husband consumed poison and died. This matter is of Civil Line police station area.

    Raigarh. In Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh, angry villagers came together on the streets and blocked roads due to continuous damage to crops by elephants. Villagers told that during the last few days, there is presence of more than 70 elephants in Gharghoda range of Raigarh forest division which is continuously damaging their crops.

    Jagdalpur. Kotamsar Cave, located in Kanger Valley National Park of Bastar, is famous for its natural beauty. Like every year, this year too it was decided to open for tourists on the occasion of State Foundation Day. But the villagers have protested fiercely against its opening regarding their demands, after which a controversy has arisen regarding the opening of Kotamsar Cave this year.

    Dhamtari. Sensation spread in the area after the dead body of a youth was found in Muzgahan bypass pond. The dead body of a young man was found floating in the pond, which had injury marks on his body, due to which murder is suspected. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, established a route and started investigation. This matter is of Arjuni police station area.
