Toyota’s Innova: A 20-Year Success Story in India, with Consistent Sales Performance

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported its sales data for August 2025, showcasing a robust performance with a total of 34,236 units sold during the month. The sales breakdown includes 29,302 units sold in the domestic market and 4,934 units exported. The sales in August 2025 represent an increase compared to the 30,879 units sold in August 2024, indicating an 11 percent year-over-year growth. The figures from January to August 2025 also highlight a positive growth trajectory. In addition to the sales numbers, the Toyota Innova, encompassing the Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross, has celebrated two decades in the Indian market. The Innova, sold by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) in India, has achieved sales of more than 12 lakh units across three generations in the country. The Toyota Innova Hycross’s pricing starts at Rs 19.20 lakh, with the highest-priced model at Rs 32.58 lakh.
