Ranchi experienced a shocking act of violence when traffic police personnel were attacked by auto rickshaw drivers. The incident took place in the Kathal Morh area under the jurisdiction of the Nagri police station, and the video of the incident has quickly gone viral.
According to reports, a group of auto drivers were involved in the assault, using stones to attack the traffic police officers. One officer, named Rohit Ganjhu, was severely injured and is currently receiving treatment at RIMS hospital in Ranchi.
The auto drivers fled the scene following the attack. The police have launched a search operation to apprehend those responsible, and the Ranchi Traffic SP has promised to bring the perpetrators to justice. The Nagri police station is overseeing the investigation.
