A heartbreaking incident resulted in the death of 11-year-old Ali in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred near the Kelora crossing when Ali, traveling in a wedding procession bus, leaned out the window. A passing pickup truck struck him, leading to the severing of his head. The scene was shocking to all.

The event took place within the jurisdiction of the Hathras Junction police station. Ali, from Maksudan Nagar, was with his family, on his way to his cousin’s wedding in Mevali village, Sikandararau. He was seated in a window seat in the bus. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. as the bus traveled on the national highway. Ali, in a moment of excitement, leaned out of the window. A speeding Tata Magic pickup truck then collided with him. The impact caused Ali’s head to separate from his body, with the head falling onto the road and his torso remaining in the bus.

The accident caused panic among the bus passengers. The driver stopped the vehicle after hearing a loud sound and found Ali’s severed head. Seeing the bloodied seat and Ali’s torso caused immense grief among the family. Witness Shahabuddin stated that Ali was near the window. A loud noise happened, and Ali’s head was gone, and the seat was covered in blood. Police from Hathras Junction arrived. The body was taken for a post-mortem examination. The pickup truck was seized, and the driver questioned. Initial investigations suggest speeding and negligence were factors.
